Speak like G‑d.
G‑d's words are packets of divine energy, articulations of His essence and being.
You, too, can speak from the essence of your heart.
Words that come from your heart will enter the hearts of others. And once there, they will have their effect.
So that the heart they enter cannot help but be moved.
G‑d spoke and the world came into being.
Speak from your heart and a whole new universe might come to be.
The compassion is what means so much to me, G-D is ever loving.
Deuteronomy is a book I have not yet tackled.

Dear Rabbi Freeman, thank you for another beautiful vitamin for our souls, for these words of wisdom.
I wonder what it really means to speak from your heart? How often do people really do it? It seems that people choose to hide behind their self-made masks and speak what is expected from them. I am sure I also do that sometimes… that’s why I don’t like those social talks, they seem so pretentious and fake. I read somewhere that lyes don’t exist (as if they have no essence to begin with). So, maybe, speaking from the heart means saying what is resonating in your essence in that moment… saying something that has a power to exist. Like when we say our loved ones that we love and care for them, in that moment we creat and bring into existence more love and positive energy into our universe.

Thank you for posting these daily doses of wisdom, your timing of topics is impecable. I could read the book at home; which I have already, but the selection of your posts fits too well with topics that are immediately on my mind and who would want to miss that. Just to clarify: Many of these are printed in four published collections. Many, however --particularly the parsha related ones--are new and don't yet exist in print.

The emphasis of the fragment of the Rebbe is on words. It is he best choice because that is how H' created the world. If we follow H's example our efforts are not lost because we offer knowledge, or support, to other people if it is done with with Derech Eretz.
Not told here, but is part of that advice : no lashon harah= don't gossip, and hang the phone if somebody ends doing that. Gossips stains us !
In the same way that we explain to children with kindness, it is how we should do it with adults, yet, not patronizing because you think you know better. That has happened to me when people have to show off that they know better, and demean without thinking the other person even if correct in content. That stance will not get into my heart at all.
If we do what he Rebbe advices, I am sure we would live in a better world.
